Richard Woditsch

Richard Woditsch is an architect from Berlin and Professor for Theory in Architecture at the Nuremberg Institute of Technology, Germany. His research topics encompass contemporary and adequate ways of dealing with our historic built heritage, resource-saving spatial development that is accepted by the population in transitional areas between city and landscape, and changing interrelations between society and city in terms of typology. His dissertation on the Greek polykatoikia identified the adaptability of complex spatial structures within the urban context of Athens based on theories on ecology and sustainability.
