The water filter workshop enters the next level: we will build a Moving Bed Reactor for the Floating University. A Moving Bed Reactor is a series of tanks, inoculated with different bacteria, that can turn grey water into bathing water in one day.
This workshop will be taught in collaboration with water engineer Erwin Nolde, who designed the system at Roof Water Farm in Berlin. Will we be able to transform 100 to 300 liter soapy water from washing our dishes into water for our swimming pool? Or water our tomato greenhouse? Or even clean the polluted water in the basin?
