What role can graphic design play in fighting for a better life in our cities (for affordable rents, against racism …)? The department of Visual Communication has invited activists from the pioneering French graphic collective Grapus (1970-1990) and Berlin shapers and designers to talk about posters, petitons, protest, failure and beauty.

Ex-»Grapus«-collective, organized by the Department of Visual Communication of Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin
With Francois Miehe, Gerhard Paris-Clavel, Alex Jordan (former Grapus) and Sandy Kaltenborn (graphic designer and activist). Moderation: Walter Scheiffele and Jörg Petruschat
