Fri, 04.05.18 - Sat, 12.05.18, 9:30 - 18:00
Floating University Berlin, 10965 Berlin, Lilienthalstraße

In this workshop participants venture into the world of ecosystem management. An excursion day will be followed by a three day mapping workshop to understand the rainwater basin and its influences. Through a systematic sequence of questions, participants will turn their situation analysis into a conceptual model growing to several meters length. The complex web of causes and effects influencing the local ecosystems and social systems and the services they provide becomes visible. In the final step the model is enriched with illustrations which serve for the following 5 months as a basic form of communication about the space and to continuously collect ideas and results of the Floating University as well as mapping and contextualizing them.
